The last time Pima Junior College and Glendale Junior College faced off with one another was for the Division-II Championship at the end of the 2019 season, and Glendale would win the title. But this year’s Pima team, while dropping two games in conference play this season, is really talented from top to bottom. Horizon High School (4-1) is off to an excellent start this high school season, and they did just that on Monday evening on the road at Central High School (1-2), as they got off to an excellent start in the game and would not look back in the contest. Hamilton High School is always well-coached and prepared for every game, under the strong gamesmanship and leadership of Head Coach Doug Harris (pictured left). After watching a loaded and athletic McClintock High School team on Wednesday evening completely dismantle a tough Boulder Creek team in the Fear The Hop Tournament quarterfinals, Harris devised a strong game plan to slow down the McClintock Chargers, and it would work, as Hamilton would slow down the game against McClintock and utilize a zone defense to help them overcome a 30-24 halftime deficit to eventually win the contest, 65-64, in narrow fashion over McClintock…
