It has been an interesting journey for former Desert Vista High School 6-foot-2 senior point guard Tyrek Chambers. After moving to the state of Arizona last high school season from New York, and having a strong junior season for Desert Vista, the gifted guard prospect is now on the move again, and will look to land somewhere soon for his senior season. This season will see a lot of new changes in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC), as there will be new coaches in the conference and, of course, new players. One major change in the conference this season will be the departure of former Phoenix College head coach Matt Gordon, and the addition of new head coach Duane Eason at Phoenix College. Arizona’s 2020 Class of prospects is absolutely loaded with talent for the future. One of the better prospects in the class is still a relatively unknown prospect by many, but is coming off a strong performance this spring and summer for himself. Gilbert High School’s 6-foot-7, 175-pound junior forward Griffin Lamb is a nice talent with nice upside for the future. Former Shadow Mountain High School graduate, 6-foot-8, 240-pound sophomore forward Isaiah Jones has really done well for himself since moving on to the collegiate ranks. After signing and playing for Biola University last season, Jones decided to transfer schools this spring in an attempt to play at the division-I level. Since leaving the program, he now has two different division-I offers on the table for himself.
