PHOENIX – The second Southwest All-American Camp, run by Gregg Rosenberg, Anthony Ray and Justin Vargas and held at Cortez High, got off to a rousing start with 12 games involving 100-plus players Saturday. Action resumes Sunday morning at 10, with each of the camp’s 12 teams playing one game apiece (they played twice Saturday). All-star games begin at 1:45 in the afternoon, starting with a contest with just underclassmen (Classes of 2020-22), followed by Top 40 and concluding with a Top 20 affair (scheduled to tip at 3:55). With the start to the busy recruiting month of July upon us, one prospect in Arizona that will be looking to maximize his college recruitment this summer will be Buckeye High School’s 6-foot-6 rising senior wing Otis Frazier.  Frazier has been on a tear this summer and recently he led his Buckeye team to the championship of the recent and very highly competitive ASU Team Camp. The Southwest All-American Camp event is scheduled for June 30th-July 1st at the brand new PHHacility located in Phoenix at 4600 East Gin Loop. This is the 2nd annual event for Arizona Preps and Arizona Varsity – combining to present this camp. The event is unique since there will be 20+ college coaches attending from every level of play.
