One of the top prospects to take advantage of the summer opportunities available to him was Rancho Solano Prep High School’s ultra-athletic 6-foot-4 junior guard Kiimani Holt. The Area Codes High Academic Showcase took place this weekend at Desert Edge High School, and included 40 student-athletes for the event that represent scholar athletes across the state. Tournament Director Chad Groth put together a good event that included some serious coaching from the participating coaches, and player development as well. One of the elite returning prospects in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) this up-and-coming junior college season is Central Arizona Junior College’s 7-foot, 220-pound sophomore post Trever Irish. The historic college recruitment of Pinnacle High School’s superstar guard Nico Mannion is really winding down now, as the star guard has narrowed his list of college programs down to his final four schools.
