Day one of this year’s Visit Mesa Basketball Challenge got underway in epic fashion, as the final evening match-up between Apollo High School (12-2) and Corona Del Sol (10-2) would make for one of the best games of the high school season. Pima Junior College 6-foot-8 sophomore forward Deion James has improved a great deal over the past year, after heading the division-I route after high school. After a year in the division-I ranks, James developed a great deal as a player and saw his game progress nicely.
