Almost two years ago, Glendale Junior College, led by our 2019-2020 ACCAC Co-Coach of the Year Ken Carrillo, won the Division-II Region Championship in the conference with a big championship victory over rival Pima Junior College on their home floor (105-96). The Centennial High School basketball program is definitely on the rise and in position to win a 5A State Championship next high school season, as the program will be returning the majority of last year’s team that had a terrific season in 2021.
