On September 18, 2016, Ryan Silver hosted his 2nd annual West Coast Elite All- Star Camp-Arizona on the campus of Rancho Solano Preparatory School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Like last years’ camp that was held at South Mountain CC, this years’ event was also a screaming success from start to finish with every game featuring multiple Division-I players on each court, as well as each games’ intensity was at an all-time high. On September 17th and 18th, Ryan Silver and West Coast Elite Basketball will be hosting their 2nd annual WCE All-Star Camp- Arizona at South Mountain Community College. Last year’s event was one of the best youth events held in Arizona, and in recent years. We are really looking forward to this years’ event as well. On September 17th, Grades 2-8 will be competing in the all day event and on September 18th, Grades 9-12 will then play. One of the best guards in Arizona’s 2018 class has decided to transfer. 6-foot-2, 185-pound junior combo-guard Amari Hudson has left Skyline Prep and will be attending Basha High School in Chandler this up-and-coming high school basketball season. Hudson is a well-built combo guard who can really score the basketball in variety of ways, and in a hurry. This weekend, Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley and the rest of the Arizona State men’s basketball staff held their annual Elite Camp at the Weatherup Center on the campus at Arizona State University. The camp began with opening remarks from Arizona State’s Director of Basketball Operations, Derrick Wrobel and Bobby Hurley. From June 10th through the 12th, Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley and his staff hosted their first Arizona State Team Camp since taking over the program last year. Games were played in Wells Fargo Arena, Weatherup Center and the ASU Rec Center. Around 20 very high caliber teams competed all throughout the day at these different venues, and it was a great camp from start to finish.
