The Moon Valley program has produced some of the top prospects in the state’s history, and now the program has risen back to a very serious level as the program has received a serious transfer in 6-foot-3 junior guard Ty Harper. Harper recently moved to the state of Arizona via the state of Georgia, and now will team up nicely with junior guard Trent Hudgens to give the Rockets a formidable duo in the state’s 4A Division. Harper decided on attending Moon Valley High School, after also considering each of the top prep programs in the state. Harper decided to play for…
No player helped themselves more this summer with their performance more than Arcadia High School’s 6-foot-4 sharp-shooting senior guard Carter Murphy. After entering the club season with no offers, the hard-nosed gifted and skilled prospect shot the lights out this club season en route to earning numerous scholarship offers for himself. Recently, Murphy decided that he had found his fit and gave a verbal commitment to a Mountain West program. Very few prospects in the state, at any class, saw their recruiting stock take off more this summer than Murphy, as he earned scholarship offers from South Dakota, Hartford, Northern Arizona, Army West Point and Air…
After recently deciding to become a member of Arizona’s and the nation’s 2019 Class, and advancing to his natural grade of high school, Pinnacle High School’s superstar guard Nico Mannion is nearing his college decision, as he now has his sights set on two different college programs. The historically gifted Arizona prospect will soon make his college decision between the University of Arizona and Marquette University. After recently narrowing his list of college programs down to his final four schools, Mannion recently decided to actually drop defending national champion Villanova and Duke from his list of schools – possibly the nation’s top two college programs.…
One of the top overall prospects in Arizona’s loaded 2020 Class is AZ Compass Prep’s 6-foot-2 junior guard Jalin Anderson. Anderson received a nice player ranking in our recent player rankings in our quarterly Arizona Hoop Review scouting report that is sent out to college coaches. He is coming off a strong performance this spring and summer, and now has one scholarship offer on the table for himself. This summer, Grand Canyon University head coach Dan Majerle and his staff extended an offer to Anderson – making a case for the gifted guard prospect early. Anderson played very well this summer in…
One of the top overall prospects in Arizona’s 2019 Class is narrowing his focus on a college decision, as Apollo High School’s talented 6-foot-7, 180-pound senior wing prospect Emmanuel Taban has trimmed his list of final schools down to two college programs. Taban is coming off a very good spring and summer performance for himself, where he reeled in numerous scholarship offers for himself. Taban would earn offers from such college programs as Texas Tech, Kansas State, Nevada, UC-Santa Barbara, Grand Canyon, Wyoming, Portland State and Southern Utah throughout the club season. After playing through the club season, Taban is now focusing on two college programs, as he announced this week that he…

It has been an interesting journey for former Desert Vista High School 6-foot-2 senior point guard Tyrek Chambers. After moving to the state of Arizona last high school season from New York, and having a strong junior season for Desert Vista, the gifted guard prospect is now on the move again, and will look to land somewhere soon for his senior season. I caught up with someone close to Chambers this weekend, and I was advised that Chambers has not yet decided on a high school program, after deciding to leave the Desert Vista program for his senior season. It is still…
