After a huge narrow home victory last week in the state’s biggest game ever, in which they ended a dominant Shadow Mountain’s 73-game win streak, Pinnacle High School (6-1) returned to action Tuesday night on the road to face #2 ranked Mountain Pointe High School. After losing their first game of the season in the Sunnyslope Hoopsgiving pre-season tournament, Chaparral has been on fire. Phoenix College (1-1, 4-3) is under new leadership this season, as new head coach Duane Eason has taken over the program. The Bears are off to a good start in the conference this season and on Wednesday evening, they visited South Mountain Junior College (0-2, 3-3), their Division-II rival in the conference.
