Two years ago, the NCAA changed the recruiting calendar for NCAA-approved evaluation events to extend to the summer month of June, to include high school sanctioned events – giving high school coached programs an opportunity to compete in viewing period events or scholastic events approved by the NCAA and National Federal High School Association (NFHS). There has been a lot of turmoil going on in the Arizona Wildcats basketball program over the past several years, and it reached it’s apex recently when former Head Coach Sean Miller was fired, after a subpar season where the historic basketball program failed to make the NCAA Tournament.
