Arizona Western and Phoenix have the two ACCAC men's basketball Players of the Week for Nov. 11-17.
Arizona Western 6-foot-1 sophomore guard Daniel Kiely has been selected as the ACCAC's Division-I Player of the Week. A sophomore from Kinshasa, Congo, Kiely scored 24 points on 10 for 16 shooting from the floor, in an 86-82 win over Little Priest Tribal College. He also added 12 rebounds, four steals and four assists.
Phoenix College's gifted 6-foot-3 sophomore guard Trey Mitchell (pictured) had a huge week for Phoenix in capturing the ACCAC's Division-II Player of the Week honor. He averaged 32 points, scoring over 30 in both games, in wins over the Mesa-Benedictine and Arizona Christian JV teams. In addition, he averaged 5.5 assists, 4.5 steals and was 24 for 37 (.649) from the floor.
