Recently, Arizona's top-rated unsigned senior prospect, AZ Compass Prep's 6-foot-6 combo-guard prospect Both Gach, received a passing test score and looks to be an NCAA academic qualifier. As a result, the recruitment of Gach is seriously heating up. Recently, he received an offer from a program in the West Coast Conference.
While many schools have waited to get serious for Gach throughout the high school season, waiting to see if he would qualify academically, Loyola Marymount University head coach Mike Dunlap and his staff have stepped up their recruitment of Gach - enough to extend the skilled and talented guard prospect an offer.
Gach is beginning to see his college recruitment take shape. While it is becoming late in the recruiting process, Gach also has generated loads of interest from the University of Utah and the University of Oklahoma. Tennessee, South Carolina, Nebraska and Nevada have each shown strong interest in him as of late as well, with many more schools now looking to get involved.
Gach currently has offers on the table for himself from Southern Utah and North Dakota.
A native of Minnesota, Gach is as skilled a player as there is in the state of Arizona. Gach's true value on the basketball court cannot be determined, until you see him play in a true game, as he has a high skill level and plays with excellent poise on the court. He allows the game to come to him and plays with an unselfish spirit on the floor.
Gach looks to be wide open currently in his college recruitment, and will look to schedule some recruiting visits for himself before making a college decision.
I will continue to follow his recruitment closely as we enter the late signing period, and bring you updates as they continue to develop.
