This spring, many college programs are still out loking for top-rated talent to fill their college rosters for next season.  One of the top available prospects this spring still available is Bella Vista Prep's 6-foot-8, 215-pound unsigned senor wing Girr Ring.  Ring is rated by our staff as one of the elite available prospects still available late, and he is one prospect that college programs definitely need to take a hard look at.

Ring came to Bella Vista Prep this high school season during the year.  A native of Sudan, Ring is a very talented prospect with loads of potential for the future and a nice overall skill level.  Capable of playing multiple positions on the floor, Ring is a nice target for college programs late.

I caught up with Bella Vista Prep head coach Kyle Weaver recently and he advised me that Ring is hearing from numerous college programs, but he is still available, although he is not sure why the talented prospect is still on the recruiting board.

Previously, Ring had numerous scholarship offers on the table for himself from such schools as Ohio State, Florida State, Texas, Kansas State, Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico.  Currently, he is being recruited by many other schools, but has yet to make a college decision for himself.

Ring will look to make his college decision in the near future with the late spring signing period upon us, so a decision could come very soon. It is still unclear as to whether Ring will play through the spring evaluation period or not.  If he decides to then it could definitely re-open up his college recruitment.

I will continue to follow his college recruitment closely and bring you any updates as they continue to develop.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report:  Ring is a very big combo-forward with a nice overall skill level and good overall versatility on the floor.  Capable of playing both forward positions and making plays for himself and others off the dribble.  A good shooter with range on his shot.  Stretches the floor.  A good ballhandler and passer, that is capable of handling the ball in the open floor very well.  A good rebounder that rebounds outside of his area.  Runs the floor very well.  A nice sleeper prospect and a steal this spring.
