The AZ Compass Prep national team continued their inaugural season on Thursday evening - facing another first-year program, Taylor Made Prep.  Compass would continue where they left off in their last game, playing with a very well-balanced attack that would allow them to blow past Taylor Made, 96-57, and see (6) different Compass players reach double-figures on the evening.

After building a 47-28 lead in the first half, Compass would outscore Taylor Made 49-29 in the second half as well, in what would be too very similar halves for both programs.

Compass would be led in the game by 6-foot-1 sophomore guard Jaylin Anderson and 6-foot-6 senior guard Both Gach, who both finished with a team-high 17 points.  6-foot senior guard Carrington Wiggins finished with 15 points, while 6-foot-7 senior forward Meekness Payne contributed 11 points, and 6-foot-7 senior forward Stephan Gabriel and 6-foot-6 junior wing DJ Hawkins both had 10 points.

Taylor Made Prep 6-foot-7 prep wing Saikou Gueye played very well for his team, finishing with a game-high 27 points in the loss.  Gueye has really improved over the last year, as he has gotten physically stronger and has developed his ability to make plays off the dribble and finish strong around the basket.  He has also improved his ability to rebound in traffic and finish around the basket.  Gueye is a graduate of Mountain Ridge HS, and is spending a prep year this season to develop as a player with head coach Jamal Edwards.  Gueye is becoming a solid low to mid-major division-I prospect that could garner some interest throughout season.
