Recent Arizona State commit, 2017 stud prospect Markus Howard of Perry High School is coming off a tremendous freshman season – leading his team to a strong 26-6 overall record on the season, and a Division-I state semi-final playoffs berth. Markus would average an impressive 23 points, 2.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds per/game. This weekend ArizonaVarsity attended Anthony Ray’s 16th Annual Arizona Preps Fall Showcase at Sandra Day O’Connor in Phoenix (Ariz.). The showcase had over 100 players in attendance from all over the state. Each player played in two games plus an optional dunk contest, which was won by Dawson Stevenson of Sedona Red Rock.
