Arizona’s 2014 class of girl’s prospects is a solid class of players for college programs to take a strong look at. While the class is not as loaded as the previous 2013 class of girl’s prospects, the class is beginning to define itself a great deal this off-season. One of the top prospects in the class is now off the recruiting board, as she has found a program that peeked her interest enough for her to give an early verbal commitment. Desert Vista High School’s talented 5-foot-7 rising senior point guard Emily Wolph is regarded as the state’s top pure point guard prospect. …
Flagstaff, Arizona is not relatively known for it’s rich basketball talent, but occasionally a player emerges that reminds you that basketball is also played in northern Arizona – and not just for the Lumberjacks. Not slowing down one bit during the spring’s evaluation period, Johnson carried his strong play into the spring club season and raised many eyebrows with his play. College programs continue to search the younger ranks of players in an attempt to identify top-notch talent for the future. Bagley is nationally recognized by many national scouts among the very elite prospects from America’s 2018 class. As a result of such early recognition, Bagley recently received his first scholarship offer from Northern Arizona University. This week, Bagley received another scholarship offer – his second. This offer came from a PAC-12 program,…
The 11th Annual Pangos All-American Camp took place this past weekend at Cabrillo High School in Los Angeles, CA and Sunnyslope’s 6-foot-10 junior post Michael Humphrey would have a coming-out-party in this year’s event, as he would gain serious national attention for his play in the camp. Humphrey would block shots, score the basketball in the paint and from the perimeter, run the floor, rebound hard and finish strong around the rim in the event. As a result, Humphrey would receive the vote as the camp’s Sleeper of the Event, and also as the player from the camp that should have received a…
The 11th annual prestigious Pangos All-American Camp took place this past weekend in Los Angeles, CA at Cabrillo High School. With each of the top scouts and media in the West in attendance for the annual event, as well as many of the nation’s top scouts and media, a limited number of prospects from Arizona participated in the event. The last seven camp MOPs have been James Harden (Arizona State/Houston Rockets/2009 NBA Draft #3…
