The Pima College Aztecs have already made history during the 2024-2025 season, and they aren’t done yet. Pima finished the season with a perfect 30-0 overall record, and an 18-0 record in ACCAC conference play. Their unmatched dominance made them the team to beat in Arizona junior college basketball, and also have them now ranked as the nation’s #1 Division-II program in the NJCAA. St. Mary’s High School (16-12) advanced to the Final Four of the 4A State Playoffs on Friday evening with a big 78-54 second round playoff victory over Salpointe Catholic High School. St. Mary’s received a balanced offensive attack on the evening to lead them to victory. 6-foot-7 senior Caspian Jones finished with a game-high 24 points in the win. These two teams always make for an exciting rivalry match-up, so a second-round playoff game between #2 seed Sunnyslope High School (19-8) and #18 seed St. Mary’s High School (14-12) would make for a terrific game on Friday evening in front of a large crowd at Sunnyslope High School. Prescott High School (20-5) has had a wild ride this high school season, behind the amazing exploits of senior guard Uriah Tenette. It is open to teams and individuals from high school, and also club programs, Prep schools and Junior Colleges who are unsigned in the class of 2025 (only).
