It has been a busy season of recruiting for Shadow Mountain High School’s skilled 5-foot-10, 165-pound rising junior point guard Jovan Blacksher, as he has received numerous scholarship offers for himself.  This week, Blacksher received another scholarship offer from a rising basketball power in Arizona. The long wait is finally over for Mesa Junior College 6-foot-10, 250-pound graduated sophomore post Ed Hardt.  After re-opening his college recruitment this spring, Hardt waited a long time to find a new college program for himself.  After taking an official recruiting visit this week to a program in the Southland Conference, on Saturday evening Hardt decided to end his college recruitment and give a verbal commitment. With an official recruiting visit still set for Cal-State Northridge on Monday, Hardt decided to pull the trigger on Saturday evening with Houston Baptist University. Mesa Junior College 6-foot-10, 250-pound sophomore post Ed Hardt is still considering his options for school this fall, but the end is drawing near for Hardt, while it is very late in the process.  Hardt is currently on a recruiting visit, and has scheduled another recruiting visit for himself for next week. Currently, Hardt is on an official recruiting visit to Houston Baptist University.  He has also scheduled an official recruiting visit to Cal State Northridge for next week – Hardt’s final official recruiting visit. Salpointe Catholic High School’s talented 6-foot-5 rising junior wing prospect Majok Deng is among the top prospects in America’s 2019 class, and is an elite prospect in the West.  Deng has generated loads of recruiting interest for himself early in the recruiting process.  I caught up with Deng this week and went over his list of schools.
