Pinnacle High School’s 6-foot-6 talented senior forward Mason Johnson has made his decision for college next fall.  After a lot of hard work and a solid spring and summer for himself, Johnson has decided on a division-III school in Atlanta, Georgia. Johnson will attend Emory College next fall – one of the top overall smaller college programs in the country academically, and also in the sport of basketball.  Emory College has won 23 NCAA titles. After traveling to the Arizona Preps Fall Showcase as a mere 7th grader in 2012 from Chicago, Illinois, talented 6-foot-3, 185-pound senior guard Jaylin Fleming, now of Arcadia High School, returned to this year’s event to complete the journey.  Like he did as a mere youngster, Fleming returned to action in this year’s event and impressed scouts in attendance with his superior strength and ability to attack the basket and finish strong at the rim. The Southwest Showcase Holiday Classic is scheduled for December 2nd – 3rd, 2017 and will be held @ the American Sports Center and the KROC Rec Center.  Local high schools may also be used.
