The 2016-2017 junior college basketball season in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) is now underway, and in full swing. Arizona Western is back in sole first place among division-I schools @ 13-4, while Phoenix College (14-4) is also currently in sole first place for division-II schools, and has the best record overall in the conference.

ACCAC D-I Player of the Week: Dallas Polk-Hilliard, Cochise
Dallas Polk-Hilliard led Cochise this past week to two ACCAC wins - averaging 25.5 points and 8 rebounds per contest for the Apaches. For the week, Polk-Hilliard shot 65% from the field, making 20 of his 31 field goal attempts and 90% of his free throws. This is Polk-Hilliard's second POW award.
ACCAC D-II Player of the Week: Kendrick Williams, Chandler-Gilbert
Chandler-Gilbert's talented freshman guard Kendrick Williams averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2 steals per game this past week for Chandler-Gilbert. Williams shot over 50% from both the 3-point line (6-11) and inside the arc - leading the Coyotes to a split this past week in ACCAC play.
