The junior college season is winding down in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC), as Phoenix College (15-5, 11-1) has taken over sole first place in the conference, once again behind the leadership of head coach Matt Gordon.
Here are the Players of the Week in the ACCAC, as selected by the league . . .
ACCAC D-I Player of the Week: Bryan Urruita - Sophomore - Cochise College
Urruita averaged 12.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 13.0 assists, while shooting 47.1% from the field and 57.1% from 3-point range in two conference wins this past week to move Cochise to 16-3 on the season and 9-2 in the ACCAC.
ACCAC D-II Player of the Week: Ilunga Moise - Sophomore - Pima Community College
Moise averaged 20.5 points and 12.5 rebounds, while shooting 73.7% from the field in two conference wins this past week to move Pima to 17-2 on the season and 9-2 in the ACCAC.
