AZ Compass Prep is absolutely loaded with talent this year, and has one of the best lineups in America. A major reason for the development of the program's roster this season has been the addition of 6-foot-9, 220-pound senior post Eduardo Andre. A native of the United Kingdom and of Woodrow Wilson High School in D.C., Andre recently changed programs and is now among the state's elite available prospects in Arizona's 2020 Class.

I caught my first glimpse of Eduardo Andre recently in the Grind Session's Longitude Latitude Classic event, and was very impressed with this young man's overall size and length. He is an imposing post player that looks the part and plays big around the paint, and also plays like that of a post player inside and around the basket. He is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor and a good finisher inside the paint. Primarily a finisher around the basket, and in transition after running the floor. He runs the floor very well and and has a good overall motor on the court.

Currently, Andre is receiving some good college interest and already has offers from Auburn, Houston, Mississippi State and University of Texas-San Antonio. According to school officials, Andre should qualify academically this spring.

I look for Andre to receive many more offers from college programs as we near the spring evaluation and signing periods. Especially since there are few post players in the West currently with Andre's combination of size and length.

Andre has excellent potential for the future and has a great deal of upside as a player and prospect, and he is a very good looking prospect overall. He is still raw offensively and needs some skill work to become much more of a threat on the offensive end of the floor, but his presence on the defensive end is worthy of serious attention.

I will continue to follow Andre's progress as a player, as well as his college recruitment as we near the spring evaluation and late signing period.
