2017 ACCAC Men’s Basketball All-Conference Selections

The Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) has completed their regular season for the 2016-2017 junior college basketball season.  As a result, the coaches in the conference have made their selections for Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and each of their All-Conference and All-Region selctions for the conference.

Here are the All-ACCAC selections for this season, led by the Coach of the Year, Matt Gordon of Phoenix College (3rd time selection), and the conference's Co-Player(s) of the Year - Deion James (pictured) of Pima Junior College and Dallas Polk-Hilliard of Cochise Junior College . . .

ACCAC Co-Players of the Year:

Dallas Polk-Hilliard  6-6  Sophomore  Forward - Cochise  JC

In conference games this season, Dallas Polk-Hilliard was a model of consistency scoring in double figures in 21 of 22 games.  During conference play Polk-Hilliard averaged 20 points and 8.8 rebounds per-game - leading Cochise to a 16-6 ACCAC record.  Polk-Hilliard shot 47% from the field and recorded 8 double-doubles in league play.  He was a two-time Player of the Week selection.

Deion James  6-8  Sophomore  Forward - Pima JC

Deion James led Pima to a strong conference showing - averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists per/game.  James shot 47% from the field, including 40% from the 3-point line.  James recorded 13 double-doubles this season for the Aztecs, as they secured the #2 seed for the Division-II Region-I Tournament.
