Anthony Ray's Recruiting Academy will be nothing like itself ever before, as longtime regional basketball scout Anthony Ray will organize the Recruiting Academy, which will train participants with high level skill training, but also offer a thorough understanding of the recruiting process and how to relate recruiting principles to success in college athletics and beyond. The first session for this Academy will now take place on Saturday, August 2nd @ Gilbert High School from 11AM to 1PM. Due to several key members of the instructional staff not being present this weekend (out of town), we have decided to push the start to the Academy to next weekend.
The college basketball recruiting process has been around for decades, but is still a mystery especially to those going through it for the first time. The process has become much harder today to navigate, and continues to become harder for today's student-athletes and parents, as a result of the NCAA Transfer Portal, as many college programs today recruit high school prospects much less than years past.
Arizona Preps' goal is to help educate attendees on the ins and outs of the recruiting process, which in turn will help them make an informed decision when choosing which college to further their basketball career. Whether you currently have zero interests from colleges or high interest from numerous colleges, the Anthony Ray's Recruiting Academy has information that can be beneficial to you.
Learn firsthand from people who have gone through this process themselves as a player and from others who deal with the process on a yearly basis. Participants will be trained and developed and also given steps on how to increase their college basketball recruitment, assess what level they are capable of playing at, best ways on how to communicate with college coaches and much more. The Academy will also teach valuable life skills that will allow participants to be recruited in life for a career in the future.
Anthony Ray will begin hosting the NEW Recruiting Academy on August 2nd (2025) @ Gilbert High School.
There will be a maximum of (50) participants for each session.
