With the start to the busy recruiting month of July upon us, one prospect in Arizona that will be looking to maximize his college recruitment this summer will be Buckeye High School's 6-foot-6 rising senior wing Otis Frazier. Frazier has been on a tear this summer and recently he led his Buckeye team to the championship of the recent and very highly competitive ASU Team Camp.
In the camp Frazier was dominant in his play and was regarded as the top overall performer from this weekend's camp.
This weekend Frazier received an offer from Drexel University. Frazier also currently has an offer already from Northern Colorado University. Frazier believes that he will "blow up" this summer, and that he is "the best out there," as well.
With continued play like what we have seen as of late from Frazier, he would benefit nicely in his recruitment this summer. Frazier will be looking to raise his recruiting stock this summer with the Powerhouse Hoops team that he will travel with around the country during the month of July.
Frazier is a nice talent as well. He was terrific in this weekend's ASU Team Camp displaying his ability to handle and shoot the basketball, while also slashing to the basket and locking up defensively. Frazier also rebounded hard in the camp and simply turned in a very well-rounded performance.
We will continue to follow Frazier's recruitment this summer and bring you any recruiting updates as they continue develop.
Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: Frazier is a nice overall talent with a variety of offensive skillsets that allow him to be a very effective scorer. He is able to score off the dribble quite well with floaters in the lane and strong drives to the basket. He also has a very good mid-range game and does a nice job of getting his shot off amidst defenders. Frazier has a nice feel for the game, which allows him to play multiple positions on the floor and handle the basketball in the open floor. He is a very good defender that plays passing lanes on the court. An active rebounder that competes on both ends of the court. A solid overall prospect with complete game. A nice sleeper prospect.
