No Arizona prospect in the state had a better spring and summer than Notre Dame Prep's 6-foot-3 senior guard Bryce Quinet. Quinet absolutely blew up this spring and summer, while competing on the Under Armour circuit with his terrific AZ Select UAA team. While the team would have a terrific club season, Quinet would benefit a great deal in his college recruitment, as a result. Quinet would receive loads of Division-I offers to his credit throughout the summer months. After thinking things over and having many options for himself, Quinet has now decided that he will make his college decision from (5) different college programs.
Quinet has trimmed his long recruiting list of suitors down to five. He will certainly take official recruiting visits to each program as well, before making his final decision. Quinet has chosen Evansville, Boston University, Pacific, UC-San Diego and Coastal Carolina as his five schools that he will soon decide from this fall during the early NCAA Signing Period. Quinet does not seem to have a clear leader for his services at this point.
Quinet and his AZ Select UAA-sponsored 17U team had an excellent spring and summer, as the team was loaded with talent at every position, and had a team of prospects that worked well together and complimented each other. Quinet was a big reason for the program's success, as he is a sharp-shooting, bigger guard prospect with a high basketball IQ that makes shots and makes players around him better, as a result of his passing and willingness to move the ball to the open man on the floor. Quinet is coming off a big junior season, and has had an excellent high school career thus far for himself, after a having a big-time middle school career before entering the high school ranks.
Quinet is a tough guard prospect with a nice frame and is able to play either guard position effectively. As a point guard, he finds the open man on the floor and makes good decisions with the basketball. As a scorer, Quinet is a natural, as he is a deadly shooter with unlimited range on his shot and has a scorer's mentality, so he can make or create shots consistently. He is a very good scorer that has very good body control and is able to create his own shot. Quinet sets up strong drives to the basket from his ability to keep defenses honest with his jump shot. He does not mind physical contact and competes hard. He also gets to the free throw line quite often, and is a strong driver and finisher. An active rebounder from the guard position, and a good defender that competes hard.
Last high school season, Quinet would take over the full time point guard duties and lead his team to numerous big wins on the season. Quinet proved his value to his team and also just how good he can be, as he made shots at a high rate, and provided excellent leadership from the point guard position for his team. Quinet averaged 18.6 points, 6.1 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 steals per/game last season. Quinet emerged last season as a very valuable asset to the success of a Notre Dame Prep team that finished with an impressive 25-5 overall record on the season, and he proved why he is considered among the top overall guard prospects in the 2025 Class.
It will be very interesting to see where he ultimately lands for college. His high basketball IQ and skillset are complimentary to most college programs, so he should be a good fit for the right college programs.
Quinet is also an excellent student. I will continue to follow Quinet's recruitment closely, and bring you any updates as they continue to develop.
