This weekend the Arizona’s Finest Showcase took place at Inspire Courts. Hosted by tournament organizer Michael Clark of Arizona’s Finest Videos, this event was an exciting showcase of some of the state’s elite basketball talent. Millennium High School’s talented 2014 post prospect Elston Jones is regarded as one of the premier prospects in Arizona’s senior class, but it has been a tough road for Jones in his senior year. Jones would miss his senior season of basketball after suffering a tear to his patella tendon in a freak injury after another player landed on his knee last spring, while playing on the AAU/club circuit. As a result of the injury, Jones would miss the remainder of the club season – his most important summer evaluation period as a senior prospect.
