The 8th Annual Southwest Basketball Camp took place this week in front of numerous scouts and media in attendance, and featured (120) different prospects from numerous different classes of prospects. Event organizer Gregg Rosenberg put together a nice collection of prospects over a two-day period, and held two different all-star games at the completion of the event. In a significant move for Arizona high school basketball, Millennium High School has officially announced Rich Thornton as their new head coach. This is a big-time hire for Millennium, as the community has been eagerly awaiting the announcement of who would replace former head coach Ty Amundsen, who left to join the coaching staff at Arizona State University.
