The 2016-2017 junior college basketball season in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) is now underway, and in full swing. Cochise and Arizona Western are currently tied for first place among division-I schools @ 11-3, while Phoenix College (11-3) is currently in sole first place for division-II schools, and shares the same record as the division-I leaders.

ACCAC D-I Player of the Week: Davon Bolton, Eastern Arizona
Davon Bolton had a strong week for Eastern Arizona - averaging 25.5 points, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He shot an impressive 50% from the field and 46% from the 3-point arc - making 5.5 3-point field goals per game. On the season, he leads the Gila Monsters in 3-point field goals made.
ACCAC D-II Player of the Week: Kendrick Gannon, Chandler-Gilbert
Kendrick Gannon led Chandler-Gilbert to a split in ACCAC league play - averaging 18 points and 7 rebounds per game. He led the Coyotes - shooting 63% from the field and making 15 of his 24 shot attempts.
