The 2025-2026 junior college basketball season is now in full swing, as we have now entered conference play in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC). With the season now taking great shape, here are the Basketball Players of the Week - selections from Week 10 in the ACCAC by the ACCAC. Arizona Western and College of Southern Nevada now are tied for the lead in the Division-I standings with a 12-5 overall record on the season, although College of Southern Nevada (12-5) is currently tied with them for the top spot, and is the hottest Division-I program in the conference - winners of their last (4) games on the season. Pima continues to soar on the season and remains undefeated at 18-0 - leading the Division-II Conference standings, and also currently ranked #7 nationally. . .
ACCAC D-I MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 10
Maximus Romero – College of Southern Nevada
Romero delivered a standout (3)-game week for CSN. He opened with 18 points, 8 rebounds, & 11 assists against Perazen Prep, before posting 24 points in a win over Cochise. Romero capped the week off with a 31-point performance in an 83–82 victory over Cochise - adding five assists and shooting 94.4% from the free-throw line (17-for-18) across the week, and shooting 46% from the field.
ACCAC D-II MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - WEEK 10
Blake Carabio – South Mountain Community College
Carabio helped lead South Mountain to a 2–0 week - averaging 21 points per game. He scored 10 points against Scottsdale, before erupting for 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting in a win at Mesa, while going 7-of-11 from 3-point distance. Carabio finished the week shooting 51.7% from the field.
