Arcadia High School's talented 6-foot-2 unsigned senior guard Max Moses has been among the best unsigned senior guards in the state this season. Already putting up numerous top performances for Arcadia High School this season, Moses has developed into one of the elite sleeper guard prospects in the state this high school season, while soaring under the recruiting radar.
Moses has flown well below the recruiting radar over the past couple years, as many other guard prospects have gained much more attention from local basketball enthusiasts. He is not a prospect that catches your attention with his physicality, but instead wins you over with his overall fundamental approach to the game. A fundamentally sound prospect with very a very nice offensive skillset - Moses can hold his own with any guard in the state.
Of course Moses is not on everyone's radar for top-rated guard prospects in the 2017 class, so he has had to wait for his college recruitment to develop. Moses is a nice guard prospect for a smaller college program that is looking to get a very good sleeper guard.
I have watched Moses play several times this season, and have been very impressed with his ability to make shots from the perimeter with ease, while also being able to create his own shot, almost at will. He has displayed a nice ability to make things happen for himself.
Moses is a two-year starter for Arcadia High School, and has emerged as the team's scoring leader the past two seasons. As a result, Moses will look to lead Arcadia (15-3) this season to a strong finish in the 5A Division-I state playoffs.
Look for Moses to also gain some more recruiting attention from college coaches as the season progresses.
