2026 Arizona Preps All-State Team

The 2025–2026 Arizona high school basketball season will be remembered as one of the strongest and most competitive seasons in state history. From start to finish, the level of talent, coaching, and overall play across the state was outstanding, as numerous programs battled all season for state championships, playoff positioning and national and statewide recognition. Whether it was competing for a state championship, chasing the prestigious Open Division State Title, or simply stepping up in the biggest moments, Arizona’s top players delivered all season long. The result was one of the most talent-filled and memorable seasons the state has ever seen. With so many elite individual performances, selecting this year’s Arizona Preps Boys All-State Team was no easy task. While many players were deserving, this group represents the top overall performers who made the biggest impact on winning, production, and the overall success of their programs during the 2025–2026 season. (In no particular order . . .)

2026 Arizona Preps Boys All-State Team


Cam Williams | 6’11” Senior | St. Mary’s High School | Class of 2026 | Duke University (Signee)

The 2026 Arizona Preps Player of the Year, Cam Williams turned in one of the most dominant senior seasons in state history. He led St. Mary’s to a 23-7 overall record this season, an Open Division State Championship game appearance, and a #24 national ranking (MaxPreps). Williams consistently performed at an elite level despite national attention, including a statement win over Millennium in the Open Division State Semi-finals. Ranked No. 2 overall nationally (ESPN), Williams heads to Duke University with NBA-level upside and the potential for a tremendous college career.


Rider Portela | 6’6” Senior | Sunnyslope High School | Class of 2026 | University of Colorado (Signee)

The Player of the Year runner-up, Ryder Portela led Sunnyslope to an Open Division State Championship and a top-five national ranking. Portela was dominant all season, stepping up in every key moment and delivering in the biggest games, a including a big Open Division State Championship run. A high-level leader with relentless motor and toughness, he now heads to he University of Colorado with the all of the tools to succeed at the next level.


Kyi Kyi Miles | 6’4” Sophomore | Mesa High School | Class of 2028 | Undecided

One of the top young players in America, Kyi Kyi Miles followed up his MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year campaign with a sensational sophomore season. Miles averaged 26.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals per game, while leading Mesa to a 22-8 record, despite injuries to key teammates. He is widely regarded as one of the elite prospects in the country for the 2028 class.


Adrian “Ace” Stubbs | 5’10” Senior | Maryvale High School | Class of 2026 | Pima Community College (Signee)

Another runner-up for our Arizona Preps Player of the Year, Stubbs delivered one of the most unforgettable seasons in Arizona history, highlighted by a 104-point game - the highest single-game scoring performance in state history. He averaged 25.3 points, 7.1 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4.8 steals per game, also leading the state in steals. Beyond the stats, Stubbs revitalized the Maryvale community and energized the program. He now heads to Pima Community College.


Delton Prescott | 5’11” Junior | Sunnyslope High School | Class of 2027 | Uncommitted

One of the most dynamic point guards in the state, Prescott was a key piece of Sunnyslope’s Open Division State Championship team and national success. He controlled games on both ends, attacking the lane, creating for teammates, and locking down opposing guards defensively. Prescott is among the top overall prospects in Arizona’s 2027 class.


Mason Magee | 6’0” Senior | Basha High School | Class of 2026 | University of San Francisco (Signee)

A four-year varsity leader, Mason Magee capped off an outstanding career by returning from injury and finishing off an impressive high school career. Magee has long been one of the state’s top guards and helped elevate Arizona basketball through his leadership and consistency. He now heads to the University of San Francisco for his college career.


Kingston Montague | 6’0” Sophomore | Basha High School | Class of 2028 | Undecided

Montague followed up a strong freshman year with an excellent sophomore campaign, leading Basha in scoring with 19.1 points per game, along with 3.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals. Already one of the state’s top young prospects, Montague continues to establish himself as a future star.


John Mattingly | 6’0” Senior | Central High School | Class of 2026 | University of Nevada (Signee)

Mattingly put together one of the best careers in Arizona high school basketball history, leading Central to back-to-back 5A State Championships and revitalizing the program. He averaged 27.8 points, 6.3 assists, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.9 steals per game, making him one of the most productive players in the country. He now heads to the University of Nevada, where he is expected to thrive.


Cam Holmes | 6’6” Senior | Millennium High School | Class of 2026 | University of Arizona (Signee)

Holmes concluded an excellent high school career while playing a major role in elevating Arizona basketball nationally. He led Millennium to a top-10 national ranking and an Open Division State Semi-final appearance, falling narrowly to St. Mary’s. After a highly recruited process, Holmes signed with the University of Arizona.


Adan Diggs | 6’5” Sophomore | Millennium High School | Class of 2028 | Undecided

One of the top young prospects in America, Diggs is ranked No. 1 overall nationally (Rivals.com). He had an excellent sophomore season on a loaded Millennium roster, helping lead the team to a national ranking. With elite upside, Diggs is poised for a huge spring and summer. Had a huge Open Division State Semi-final performance, which leaves us wanting for more. Will have a huge finish to his high school career.


Hale Hansen | 6’6” Senior | Brophy Prep High School | Class of 2026 | University of Montana (Signee)

One of the most athletic players in the state, Hansen had a tremendous senior season leading Brophy Prep. He was consistent all year and delivered numerous big performances, helping guide his team through a strong season. Hansen is headed to the University of Montana, where he is expected to have a strong career in the Big Sky Conference.


Darius Wabbington | 6’11” Junior | Sunnyslope High School | Class of 2027 | Uncommitted

Wabbington emerged as one of the country's top young talents during his junior season. A matchup nightmare due to his size and versatility, he played a major role in Sunnyslope’s top-five national ranking throughout the season, and Open Division State Championship. His future is extremely bright as he continues to develop.


Final Thoughts

The 2025–2026 season showcased the incredible depth of talent across Arizona high school basketball. From nationally ranked programs to breakout individual performances, this group of student-athletes helped elevate the state to new heights. This year’s Arizona Preps All-State Team represents not only elite production, but leadership, toughness, and the ability to perform in the biggest moments. With each of these players heading to the Division-I level, and many of them continuing to rise nationally, the future of Arizona basketball has never looked brighter.
