Ricky Bradley Soaring Well Below The Radar

One of my favorite overall guard prospects in the state is soaring well below the recruiting radar. With no college offers currently to his credit, PHH Prep's talented 6-foot-3 senior guard prospect Ricky Bradley is more than worthy of some serious college recruitment and, ultimately, scholarship offers, as a result of his ability to play the game. A fine young man as well, Bradley may be the state's most under recruited prospect, at any basketball position.

I have observed Bradley as a player for a couple seasons now, as he has been a consistent top performer each time I have seen him perform, and in many events. A consistent performer, Bradley is a very skilled and experienced guard prospect that is capable of playing both guard positions and with poise. After a year at Eduprize Prep last season, where he teamed up in the backcourt with star guard Justus Jackson on The Grind Session, Bradley now has joined the successful PHH Prep program, where he will certainly look to make an impact all season, and look to see his college recruitment now take off. For Bradley, it will be a welcome sight, as he has waited now for sometime to receive any offers, while he is a definite Division-I prospect.

Last season was difficult for Bradley and every high school prospect across the country, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as it became very difficult for college prospects to gain any college recruitment, as gyms were completely vacant of any college coaches for some time. Bradley was definitely a victim of this occurrence, as his exploits on the basketball court are hard to fully understand, without seeing him close up and in person. Video does not do this young man justice, as he is a very complete and fundamentally sound guard prospect that is tough.

Bradley was one of the top overall performers at last month's Arizona Preps Fall Showcase event, where he led his program to two big victories in the event. While sitting courtside, I was able to see his level of talent from both guard positions, and how effective he is as a shooter, a creator off the handle and a floor general. He has a developed feel for the game offensively, and is an excellent defender as well that applies pressure on opposing guards.

Bradley is already off to a very good start this prep season, while traveling and leading the PHH Prep program to several big wins, early on in the season. He will have a big senior season for himself and the PHH Prep program, and I look for him to begin landing major recruiting interest this prep season, as a result. For college programs, this is a young man that will be a plug-and-play prospect that has had major game experience in his young career.

I will continue to follow Bradley's recruitment and bring you any updates as they begin to develop this season. This is one young man that exemplifies why I do my job, and have for almost (30) years in the state - to bring more recruitment opportunities to those that deserve it. Bradley is well deserving.
