PHOENIX (May 16, 2023) – The Arizona Basketball Coaches Association announced the third annual Section 7 Basketball Team Camp, presented by the City of Glendale and the Legacy Foundation, on June 15-17 (girls) and June 21-25 (boys) at State Farm Stadium.

The high school basketball mega-event, held in Glendale, Arizona, will cover two weekends for the first time and will feature over 250 teams from 12 states and over 400 college coaches. The first-ever Legacy Foundation Boy's Qualifier for this year's Section 7 will take place on June 21–22, bringing together 96 Arizona teams to compete for open spots in the weekend showcase.

“Section 7 has emerged as a destination for hundreds of top high school teams and college coaches,” said Matt King, Executive Director of the Arizona Basketball Coaches Association. “We are thrilled to introduce a girls-only weekend and welcome Division I women’s coaches for the first time. Our hope is that everyone coming to Glendale will have an experience they will never forget.”

Section 7 Basketball Team Camp will feature 12 courts of game action occurring simultaneously within State Farm Stadium. The event is sanctioned by the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) during the NCAA recruiting live period.

Fans looking to attend Section 7 have the following options:

●      General Admission - Free open lower-bowl seating;

●      Floor Pass* - Floor access, spectator seating on all courts, and access to the floor-level food court;

●      Floor Pass Plus* - Entry to an exclusive hospitality area with complimentary snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and limited food selections in addition to the access provided by the Floor Pass.

*Floor Pass and Floor Pass Plus tickets are good for all days of both the girls’ and boys’ sessions. There is no need to repurchase tickets on a daily basis or for each weekend. The price will not be prorated.

The Section 7 Basketball Team Camp is a part of the June scholastic events that are sanctioned by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) and the NCAA. Because this event is sponsored by the AIA and run by the Arizona Basketball Coaches Association (ABCA), it is open to all NCAA and NAIA coaches. Alongside playing games, all players and coaches will participate in an educational component at the event.

Schedules, and brackets will be released at a later date. For a list of teams already announced to participate or more information on how to purchase Floor Pass and Floor Pass Plus passes, visit section7teamcamp.com or follow @Section7az.
