One of our top overall remaining uncommitted prospects in Arizona's 2024 Class, if not the best available prospect, is now off the recruiting board. Bella Vista Prep's talented 6-foot-11, 200-pound graduating senior post Makhan Diouf had a long list of offers for himself, and now has decided on a college program, after committing to Fresno State University and their new coaching staff - a very nice commitment for the Bulldogs.

Diouf had waited for some time to make his college decision, but now has chosen Fresno State, which should suit Diouf very well and allow him to receive playing time early in the process. Diouf chose Fresno State over previous offers from UCLA, Washington State, USC, LSU, Arizona State, Cal, Xavier, UNLV and UC-Santa Barbara. Diouf received many of these offers early on in the process, but did not see any new offers this spring for himself, resulting in his decision to commit to Fresno State University and new Head Coach Vance Walberg, one of the most successful coaches in basketball history, and very well-known in the basketball world for innovating the dribble drive motion offense.

Diouf is as good as any prospect in Arizona's 2024 Class, so he is an excellent addition and signing for Fresno State this late in the recruiting process.

A native of Senegal, Diouf is a nice post talent with excellent length and size, although he still needs to add size to his thin frame to reach his maximum potential as a player. At 7-foot in height, Diouf is an athletic, skilled and versatile talent that raises eyebrows with his play every time he steps on the floor.  He is among the very best overall pure talents in the state of Arizona, and a very unheralded prospect nationally. An impressive talent that was well underrated in his college recruitment.

Congratulations and good luck to Diouf in his college future, as well as congratulations to the Bella Vista Prep men's basketball program on this accomplishment.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: A native of Senegal, Diouf is a nice post talent with excellent length and size, although he still needs to add size to his thin frame to reach his maximum potential as a player. At 7-foot in height, Diouf is an athletic, skilled and versatile talent that raises eyebrows with his play every time he steps on the floor.  He runs the floor very well and finishes strong at the rim. He has good low post moves and also an ability to shoot the basketball from mid-range. He has very good explosion off the ground as well for his size. This young man has a very high ceiling as well, and so he is a tremendous prospect for college programs to begin recruiting.  He could become a future NBA-level talent with serious hard work.  He is among the very best overall pure talents in the state of Arizona - an impressive talent an an excellent sleeper prospect.
