One of the top guard prospects in Arizona's 2017 class is Greenway High School's 6-foot-3, 165-pound junior point guard Scotty Shaver. Shaver has worked hard to become one of the state's top guard prospects. Shaver has been around the game all of his life - a feature that benefits him nicely as he is a gym rat. Shaver loves the game of basketball and works very hard on his game to progress as a player.
Last high school season, Shaver led the Greenway team in scoring and was the team's best three-point shooter and also playmaker. Shaver also takes pride in defending the opposing team's best player, and accepts challenges on and off the floor, as he is a true leader for his teammates.
Shaver has developed into one of the better performers in the state's 2017 class. Here is a highlight video showing why this young man is set to have a big senior season.
