Bella Vista Prep has made a complete resurgence over the past two seasons under the focused and excellent leadership of long-time highly successful coach Matt Gordon (Director). The program merged with Canyon International Academy (CIA) this college season in tremendous fashion, and now the program is as good a prep program as there is in the country. Bella Vista's 6-foot-10, 240-pound senior post Mouhamed Sylla is one of the top overall prospects in America's 2025 Class, and he was being recruited heavily this season. Sylla has decided to pull the trigger, and has given a big verbal commitment to Georgia Tech and Head Coach Damon Stoudamire.

Sylla is our #2 overall prospect in the 2025 class for Arizona, behind only Perry HS superstar Koa Peat. Sylla is a Top 30 national prospect by most scouting services around the country, and is a candidate for the McDonald's All-American game this spring. This is a big-time prospect that has helped to make the Bella Vista Prep program what is currently is, and has become. Sylla has a very right future ahead of him, and will become an immediate impact performer in the ACC next fall.

Sylla chose to give a big commitment to Head Coach Damon Stoudamire and his coaching staff, after receiving loads of Division-I offers and interest. Sylla chose Georgia Tech over offers from such programs as Duke, Kansas, Arkansas, Alabama, Oregon, Washington and Arizona State.

A member of NBA Academy Africa, Sylla came down to Arkansas and Oregon, before deciding on Georgia Tech.

"I picked to go to Georgia Tech because when I went on my visit there I felt at home," Sylla said. "And, I know they can help me get to the (NBA)."

This is a tremendous addition to a Georgia Tech recruiting class for 2025, that is now considered among the Top 20 recruiting classes in America.

Congratulations to the Bella Vista Prep program on this big commitment, and to the recent success of their program. This program will continue to soar as they are absolutely loaded with elite-level prospects.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: Mouhamed Sylla is a tremendous talent with nice size and athleticism, and a strong ability to finish plays around the basket. He has excellent bounce off the floor and is an elite finisher inside and around the paint. He has good low post moves with advanced footwork and is a nice target in the post, that can make plays with a nice jump hook and good low post moves. He has a soft mid-range touch from the perimeter, and can turn and face from mid-range and make drives to the basket around and over defenders. He has a high motor and competes hard on the glass and rebounds outside of his area on the floor. Runs the floor very well and is a good finisher in transition. An active shot-blocker as well. A Top 30 national prospect in America's 2025 Class and a potential McDonald's All-American for the 2025 Class.
