The spring NCAA Evaluation Period had many different prospects in competition on the AAU/club circuit, looking to improve their recruiting stock with college programs. One prospect from Arizona that benefited a great deal from this period was Liberty High School’s talented and athletic 6-foot-8 junior forward Ring Nyeri. Nyeri utilized the period to improve his recruiting stock and earned a prestigious honor in the process, as he received an invitation to next month’s exciting Pangos All-American Camp. Nyeri is coming off a very good junior season, where he helped lead a very talented Liberty High School program to 22-7 overall…

Arizona’s 2025 Class of prospects is very talented and one of the top prospects in the class for college coaches to consider recruiting early is 6-foot-6 sophomore wing KIngston Tosi. After a strong sophomore season where he helped to lead Millennium High School to a 27-5 overall record on the season, and a runner-up finish for the 5A State Championship, Tosi is on the rise in the class. Recently, Tosi received his first Division-I offer to his credit. Many college programs will begin recruiting Tosi over time, but the NAU Lumberjacks are not waiting to get in line, after Northern…
Arizona’s 2024 Class of seniors is sill filled with many unsigned performers, although prospects are falling off the board at a much slower pace than year’s past due to the NCAA Transfer Portal. Another one of the top prospects in Arizona’s 2024 Class is Carl Hayden High School’s talented 6-foot-4, 180-pound senior guard Adrien Armstrong. Armstrong is coming off a strong senior season for himself, and has given a commitment to a local junior college program, where he should flourish over the next 1 – 2 years of college basketball in the ACCAC. Armstrong recently gave a commitment to South Mountain…

Nsonwu has had a strong spring performance after a senior season at Skyline Prep, where he showed very well on The Grind Session. Gilbert’s Highland High School 6-foot-3, 215-pound senior do-it-all performer Noah Peterson is coming off an excellent senior season for himself, after leading his program to an impressive 26-3 overall record and a 6A State Championship. Peterson was one of the best senior prospects in the state of Arizona this high school season, and earned an opportunity to be a Division-I prospect as a result of his stellar play as a senior. Instead of signing with a Division-I college program this spring, Peterson instead will take a different path for himself. While I had marveled at which college program would ultimately…

After a previous commitment to St. John’s University, and then deciding to re-open his college recruitment, after the firing of former Head Coach Mike Anderson, Lendeborg became available again for college coaches to pursue. After waiting on the right college suitor for himself, Lendeborg and his Arizona Western teammate, 6-foot-3 sophomore guard Marquis Hargrove, both announced in surprising fashion on social media that they had both decided to accept scholarship offers to UAB. UAB Head Coach Andy Kennedy will enter his fourth season next fall at the helm…
