Junior college basketball in the ACCAC is off to an excellent start this season, and there have been some major surprises already early into the 2023-2024 junior college basketball season. Chandler-Gilbert Junior College is off to an excellent start on the season, as they currently sit in first place in the conference standings with an undefeated 7-0 record on the season, and a 2-0 record in conference play already, which includes a big 64-55 victory over top-rated Cochise College on Tuesday evening. With many Arizona prospects signing National Letters of Intent this week with their respective college programs, we can add Millennium High School’s talented 6-foot-3, 180-pound senior guard Sabien Cain to the list of early signees. With some good offers on the table for himself, Cain made his college decision to sign with Cal-State Northridge University (CSUN), a member of the Big West Conference. Wednesday was the first official day of this year’s NCAA Early Signing Period, which will run from November 8 – 15th.
