Arizona Preps recently announced our NEW partnership with Zipps Sports Grill in Arizona. The local growing chain of Sports Restaurants has partnered with Arizona Preps to provide awards and scholarship opportunities for Arizona's top boys and girls student-athletes throughout the state each month.

Zipps Sports Grill is one of the state's premier and most popular sports grills, and combines homemade food, friendly service and drinks, with top-notch entertainment in your neighborhood. The chain has (14) different locations in the valley, and we encourage the entire Arizona basketball community to visit their locations today!

Zipps is supporting the Arizona High School basketball community a great deal, as they are working with Arizona Preps to create Player of the Month and Player of the Year awards for boys and girls high school basketball players in the state. The awards are decided by the Arizona Preps' staff, and are mailed each month to the recipients of the award. The awards will include food at the Zipps' locations.

Zipps was also a major sponsor for this year's 22nd Annual Arizona Preps Fall Showcase, which was loaded with many of the state's top high school varsity and prep programs.

Our next selections for the award included our selections for Players of the Month (boys and girls) for November. Our staff has selected two more winners of the monthly award, and this new honor goes to two members of the same high school program in the state - AZ Compass Prep's 6-foot-4 star senior guard Ty Ty Washington (Creighton University signee) and AZ Compass Prep 5-foot-11 senior guard Madison Conner (University of Arizona signee).

Ty Ty Washington has been on an absolute tear this prep season, and has had an amazing start to the high school season - leading AZ Compass Prep to an amazing undefeated season thus far. This season, Washington has been terrific - proving his value among the nation's top 2021 prospects. Washington led his team to the Championship in the recent Pangos All-American Festival, and also led his AZ Compass Prep team a tremendous undefeated start to their season, and an undefeated performance on the Grind Session. Washington would also give a big commitment to Creighton University in November, and is absolutely hot and trending in the right direction - set to have a huge senior season for himself and his prep program.

AZ Compass Prep’s 5-foot-11 senior guard Madison Conner (University of Arizona signee) is among the nation's top overall talents, and she has been for some time. The very gifted and skilled guard prospect has had a tremendous high school career, and is off to an excellent start to her senior season - leading her AZ Compass Prep girl's program to an excellent start to the season as well. Conner has had a terrific high school career for herself, becoming a star basketball prospect before even entering her high school career. As a mere freshman, Conner received an offer from University of Arizona Head Coach Adia Barnes, an offer that she could not pass on, as the terrific guard prospect gave the Wildcats her commitment - the first in the 2021 Class for the Wildcats.
