The 2024-2025 junior college basketball season is now officially underway and heading towards conference play now in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC). With the season now underway, here are the Basketball Players of the Week selections from Week 4 of play in the ACCAC. Eastern Arizona's gifted 6-foot sophomore point guard Armari Carraway has been on fire to start the junior college season. Carraway has now been selected as the Player of the Week twice already this junior college season.
ACCAC D-I MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 4
Armari Carraway - Eastern Arizona - Carraway scored 38 points in two wins for Eastern Arizona Junior College last week. The sophomore guard started the week by scoring 14 points in a 58-47 win over Arizona Western, before scoring 24 points and hitting five three-pointers in an 85-81 win at Yavapai.
ACCAC D-II MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 4
Jaevyn Yancey - Scottsdale - Yancey recorded a double-double in Scottsdale's 63-53 win over Mesa on Saturday. The freshman scored 14 points and hauled in 10 rebounds in the win.
