The junior college season is winding down in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC), as Phoenix College (21-6, 17-2) continues to hold on to a narrow lead for first place in the conference. Pima JC (24-3, 16-3) is in excellent position late in the season, currently in second place and playing their best basketball of the season. Both teams are setting up for another face-off for the Division-II title.
Arizona Western and Cochise JC are currently in 3rd and 4th place in the conference - fighting for the Division-I conference title.

ACCAC D-I Player of the Week: Amari Stafford - Freshman - Eastern Arizona College
Stafford averaged 20.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists, while shooting 51.7% from the field, including 7 for 16 from 3-point range in two conference games - going 1-1 this past week to move Eastern Arizona to 13-14 on the season and 7-12 in the ACCAC.
