The season is well underway now in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC), as numerous teams are jumbled together - competing for a strong position among conference leaders. Cochise College (9-1, 4-1) is in first place among division-I junior colleges, while Pima (9-1, 4-1), South Mountain (9-2, 4-1) and Phoenix College (7-3, 4-1) are each tied for first place among division-II juco's in the league.

Brandon McGhee had 13 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in a conference win this past week to move Arizona Western to 8-5 on the season.
ACCAC D-II Player of the Week: Maurice Walton - Sophomore - Chandler-Gilbert Community College
Chandler-Gilbert's Maurice Walton (pictured) averaged 20 points and 16 rebounds, while shooting 56.3% from the field in two non-conference wins this past week to move Chandler-Gilbert to 8-3 on the season.
