The 2025-2026 junior college basketball season is now in full swing through the early portion of the season in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC). With the season now beginning to take shape, here are the Basketball Players of the Week selections from Week 7 in the ACCAC. Arizona Western leads the Division-I standings with a 10-5 overall record on the season, but they have lost their last (3) games. Arizona Western is currently ranked #21 nationally. Pima is rolling and undefeated at 10-0 - leading the Division-II Conference standings, and also currently ranked #8 nationally . . .
ACCAC D-I MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 7
Emmanuel Joe Samuel – Cochise College
Samuel delivered an efficient and impactful week for Cochise, averaging 21.5 points per game and shooting 68% from the field. He opened the week with 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting in a win over Scottsdale, before erupting for 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting against Arizona Sol. Samuel also connected on 66.7% from three-point range, and was perfect at the free-throw line (5-for-5), adding 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals across the two games.
