ACCAC Basketball Players of the Week – Week 6

The 2025-2026 junior college basketball season is now in full swing through the early portion of the season in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC). With the season now beginning to take shape, here are the Basketball Players of the Week selections from Week 6 in the ACCAC . . .

ACCAC D-I MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 6

Matt Anglo – Arizona Western College
Anglo averaged 19.5 points across two wins for Arizona Western. He scored 28 points on 8-for-14 shooting, adding 3 rebounds and 5 assists in a 101–98 win over New Mexico Military. He followed up with a good effort of 11 points against Trinidad State College. For the week, Anglo shot 42.3% from the field and a perfect 15-for-15 at the free-throw line.

ACCAC D-II MEN'S BASKETBALL CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - WEEK 5

McCade Peterson – Scottsdale Community College
Peterson led the Artichokes to a 2–0 week, while totaling 34 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. He opened with 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting with 6 rebounds and 3 assists against Benedictine Mesa JV. He followed that up with 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting in an 83–80 win over Mesa. For the week, he shot 59.1% from the field, 33.3% from three, and 71.4% from the free-throw line.
