ACCAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week: 2/18

The 2014-2015 junior college basketball season in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) is now in full swing.  Here are this week’s Players of the Week in men’s basketball in the conference . . .

ACCAC D-I Player of the Week: Cameron Young, Arizona Western

Cameron Young led the Vaqueros to a 1-1 record including scoring 31 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in a win over Eastern Arizona.  Young shot 50% from the 3-point line and a perfect 8 for 8 from the free throw stripe in Arizona Western's win.

ACCAC D-II Co-Player of the Week: Matt O'Boyle, Pima

Matt O'Boyle led Pima to a 1-1 record which included a 29-point, 9-rebound performance in Pima's 83-72 win against Arizona Western.  He went 8 for 12 from the 3-point line and was 9 for 13 overall from the field.

ACCAC D-II Co-Player of the Week: Joshua Sanchez, Chandler-Gilbert

Joshua Sanchez led Chandler-Gilbert to a 1-1 record including leading the Coyotes with 25 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists in a win over Glendale. He was 7 of 10 from the field, including 1 for 1 from the 3-point line, and hit all 10 of his free throw attempts.
