With so many Arizona high school prospects still available this spring, as each of the top prospects look to make their college decisions, there are many top-rated prospects for college programs to take a hard look at. One of the elite high school prospects for Division-I programs to consider is Boulder Creek High School's talented 6-foot-8, 200-pound senior Andrew Bhesania. Bhesania is a very well under-recruited prospect that college programs need to take a very hard look at this spring.
Bhesania has firmly established himself as one of the top available prospects in the 2025 class in the West. With his size, versatility and skill-set, Bhesania turned in a strong senior campaign, helping lead Boulder Creek to a 22-6 overall record. This season, he averaged 17.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 blocks per game - showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. As a junior, he posted similar standout numbers, averaging 19.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, proving his consistency as a high-level performer throughout his high school career.
Though he received solid offers last spring from programs like UC Santa Barbara, Nevada, Northern Illinois and Northern Arizona, Bhesania hasn’t seen new offers roll in recently - a surprise, given his standout play and significant development as a player and prospect over the past several years.
What sets Bhesania apart is his versatility. With his length and feel for the game, he can score inside or stretch the floor with his shooting. His offensive game is balanced. He has a soft touch around the rim, a confident mid-range jumper and the ability to knock down shots from deep. Defensively, he alters shots, rebounds well, and moves his feet effectively for a big man.
He also gained valuable experience last spring and summer playing on the Nike EYBL circuit with the highly regarded Vegas Elite Nike-sponsored club program. Competing against elite national talent, Bhesania proved he could hold his own. He played an integral role, often operating on the wing, which helped highlight his perimeter skills and improve his confidence in handling the ball and creating off the dribble.
As he continues to mature physically and add strength, Bhesania’s upside remains high. His combination of size, skill, and experience makes him a legitimate prospect who can contribute at the next level, and beyond.
With spring recruiting heating up, Andrew Bhesania remains one of the premier uncommitted talents in the West. College programs still looking for a high-level forward should be taking notice.
Arizona Preps Scouting Report: As a college prospect, Bhesania has good size and length on his frame, which he has added some nice size to over the past year. He has also developed nicely over the past couple years. Once a long, thin rangy prospect, Bhesania has filled out nicely and has a nice overall feel for the game and a good overall skillset, especially for his size. He is fundamentally sound, and is a good shooter with range. He is also able to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot from mid-range. He is a good driver of the ball and a solid finisher that will become a much stronger finisher over time, as he continues to mature physically and gets even stronger. He is an active rebounder that rebounds outside of his area. Also a capable shot-blocker that competes hard. He still has serious upside for the future, and is a very good sleeper prospect for the 2025 Class in the West.
