Top Unsigned Senior Prospects In Arizona – Part I

Marcos De Niza HS 6-foot-3 senior guard Devin White is among the state's most consistent performers in the 2013 class, and is looking to make his college decision this month.

Arizona's is still loaded with some top-rated unsigned basketball talent late in the year for college programs to take a hard look at.  With so many of the state's top prospects still unsigned, as a result of a lackluster state for college basketball recruitment, each of these prospects are looking to make college decicions this month.

Here are some of the state's top unsigned senior prospects still available for college programs . . .

TOP UNSIGNED SENIOR PROSPECTS IN ARIZONA (In No Particular Order)

Desmond Ross  6-2  SR  PG  Raymond Kellis HS  (Glendale, AZ)

- Combo-guard prospect.  Quick penetrator and good finisher.  Very good scorer.  Good shooter with range.  Good ball handler and passer.  Strong defender.

Jeremiah April  6-10  SR  C  Joy Christian HS  (Phoenix, AZ)

- Long, athletic post player with good upside.  OK finisher.  Solid post moves.  Runs the floor.  Solid rebounder.  Capable shotblocker.  Raw talent.

Ryan Berg  5-11  SR  PG/SG  Saguaro HS  (Scottsdale, AZ)

- Excellent scorer and shooter with unlimited range.  Combo-guard prospect.  Fundamentally sound.  OK athlete.  Strong ball handler and passer.  Solid defender.  Excellent sleeper.

DJ Henderson  6-1  SR  PG  Mesa HS  (Mesa, AZ)

- Combo-guard prospect with excellent athleticism.  Good size and strength.  Good scorer and shooter.  Good ball handler and passer.  Good penetrator.  Good finisher.  Solid shooter w/range.

Conner Helvig  6-3  SR  PG  Gilbert HS  (Gilbert, AZ)

- Combo-guard prospect.  Good ball handler and passer.  Very good scorer.  Excellent athlete.  Good shooter with range.  Good defender.  Sleeper prospect.

Jonah Legg  6-4  SR  SG  North HS  (Phoenix, AZ)

- Very good scorer with a nice skill level.  Good shooter with range.  Solid ball handler, OK passer.  Good athlete.  Solid motor.  Good defender.  JUCO prospect.

Damian Mendoza  6-6  SR  SF  Sierra Vista HS  (Scottsdale, AZ) - Agreed to walk on @ Northern Arizona University

- Excellent athlete with good length of body.  Has good upside.  Good scorer and slasher.  Good in transition.  OK shooter.  Solid ball handler and passer.  Good defender.

Devin White  6-3  SR  SG  Marcos De Niza HS  (Tempe, AZ)

- Guard prospect with good overall skill level and a good motor.  Very good shooter with range.  Good ball handler and passer.  Good finisher and open court player.  Very good defender.
