The exciting annual Southwest Showcase Main Event will take place next weekend, March 29 - 31st at several different venues across the state. Organized again by local basketball aficionado Ron Coleman of the Southwest Showcase, this annual event kicks off the spring club season in the state annually, and is always super exciting as it features all of the state's top club teams in action. Each season this event does a lot to give Arizona basketball enthusiasts a glimpse into who the state's top teams and players will be for the up-and-coming club season.
I caught up with tournament organizer Ron Coleman on Friday evening, and he advised me that this year's event will be the biggest ever - comprised of more than 200+ teams for the event, from all different age groups.
