With the July evaluation period beginning recently and after just the first week of the evaluation period, numerous prospects from the state of Arizona have had very strong showings thus far and at different AAU/club events across the country.
First of all, Dobson High School 6-foot-5 rising senior transfer Jaron Hopkins is coming off an excellent showing at last week's Adidas Invitational in Indiana. At the event, Hopkins ranked among the top individual scorers in the event and showcased his superb athleticism - playing well above the rim.

In Los Angeles, CA last week while participating in the Pangos Sweet 16 tournament, Westview HS 6-foot-8 rising junior forward Andre Adams absolutely blew up, as he was featured nationally on the Rivalshoops.com website, as a result of his strong play in the event. Adams, while playing for his Arizona Magic Elite 16U team and coached by Gino Crump, showcased his length and versatility as a prospect - blocking numerous shots and bursting for a 30-point effort in his final game of the event.

Pinnacle HS 6-foot-4 rising junior guard/forward Dorian Pickens and Marcos De Niza HS 6-foot-4 rising senior guard/forward Richaud Gittens both fared very well last week while playing for their club program, the Arizona Stars. Both prospects have had excellent spring performances and continue to generate interest from new college programs.

Shadow Mountain HS 6-foot-2 rising senior guard Keegan Hansen had a nice performance for himself last week in the Pangos Sweet 16 in Los Angeles, CA. Hansen led his club program, the Arizona Rebels, to the Consolation Championship of the event - scoring 18 points in the championship game. The Rebels finished with a 3-1 record in the event.
