The exciting Pangos Premier 80 Showcase took place last weekend on the campus of AZ Compass Prep, and was absolutely loaded with talent. Tournament Director and top-rated national basketball scout Dinos Trigonis continues to bring his amazing exposure events to the state of Arizona, and our Arizona Preps' staff was on hand to catch much of the action this weekend. There were numerous breakout performances from the event, and here are my top individual performers from the event (In no particular order) . . .
Xavier Edmonds 6-8 SOPH PF Bishop Montgomery HS (CA) - 2023 Class
A big and very strong post prospect that has loads of potential. Has a very good overall skillset that allows him to play inside and out, but well at his best around the low block. Patton (pictured) is a skilled, bigger wing prospect with a nice overall offensive skillset. A left-hander with excellent versatility as a young prospect, Patton is able to play as a guard or wing currently, and will only develop over time as he continues to mature physically. Patton is a good shooter with range on his shot, which allows him to keep defenses honest, and allow him to create plays off the dribble for himself. where he is a good finisher from mid-range and in the lane. He is skilled and is a good ball handler that can share time at the off-guard position, and is also able to push the basketball up the floor from the point position. A good rebounder also, as a result of his length and size. Plays passing lanes. A good looking prospect.

A large post prospect for such a young performer. Has excellent size already and an ability to finish at the rim. Has solid low-post footwork. Has a good jump hook. Still raw offensively. Ashton Hardaway 6-7 SOPH SF Bishop Montgomery HS (CA) - 2023 Class
The son of former NBA superstar guard and Memphis Head Coach Penny Hardaway. Has excellent length, which allows him to rebound well. A good looking young prospect.
